I like all types of teas. Usually best during or after a meal since it helps me with digesting...and feels quite comforting doing so.

Ooo a thread about green tea! I'm totally a tea snob. I have a glass kettle for warming my water without any metal aftertaste from the cheaper kettles on the market, I measure the temperature of the water as it's heating up so I can ensure it gets to exactly where it should be, and I steep my tea for exactly how long it should be steeped.

I also buy only high quality green tea (up to $20 an ounce for some of it). No cheap tea bags for me!

I kind of feel that people that dislike green tea aren't brewing it properly or aren't buying the right kind of tea. Just like anything else, the flavors vary depending on the type of tea that you purchase and the quality of the tea has a large affect on the flavor (and how many uses you can get out of it).

If the flavor isn't quite to your liking plain, I recommend some good honey (not cheap store bought stuff - I import pure honey from a place in Colorado) as that will add a bit of natural sweetness to the tea that's both good for you and good tasting. I usually like to add a little bit of honey to mine when I have my 1 - 2 cups of green tea daily.

Also, if you're looking for some recommendations, I highly recommend Gyokuro and Dragonwell (loose leaf of course). Both have a great flavor to them and are extremely smooth.

Remember also that you aren't limited to a single kind when you're making tea. You can easily mix and match different kinds of tea in order to create unique flavors that suit your taste. So, if you don't like something on its own, try mixing it with something else for new and exciting flavors!

Anyway, I'll leave off here... tea excites me far too much.

I drink match green tea, without milk or sugar. I used to drink it daily but now I drink it mainly when I feel I need a detox. I still enjoy it but idk I have eased up on it lol
