Agree with you on Toma. What I'm curious about is Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide have you noticed that all 4 of these guys who claim to be her boyfriend all notice she isn't acting how she normally is. Ikki-San was the first to say that after this girl told him what has been happening to her. So, it makes me wonder, if neither of those 4 guys recognize the girl who is "suppose" to be her girlfriend then who is this girls boyfriend or better yet does she actually "have" a b/f? Toma was questioning her looking at the calendar as if he didn't want her to see something and then was taken aback by the girl asking about the alley. Then there is the locked diary she couldn't find a key for. So many questions lol.
I think it's natural that they'd think she was acting differently because she doesn't say much. I figure if she hadn't lost her memories she talk a lot more, even just about little things like complaining about having to work on Saturday or making plans to go to some movie she wants to see... Etc. Really it isn't that she's acting like a different person so much as she's acting like she doesn't know them at all.
As to whether she actually has a bf... I want to say that in the end she'll find out who she's dating for real, but knowing this type of anime, she probably isn't dating any of them yet. My guess is that they'll leave it open-ended so the viewer can decide who she was best with.

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I'm sure some people noticed it already... Shin hasn't been around since his dating arc was dealt with. Ikki appears in all timelines so far as well as his fan club that appeared often as well. There must be something that links them back to the Heroine who could barely finish a sentence. Feel bad that Kento only got on episode (so much potential). Don't get me started on Toma... For me the anime is interesting and I'll continue to watch despite people claiming its too confusing.

I'm ashamed to say it took me til episode 8 to decide to drop this anime... But after this past one its unavoidable.
What a waste of a time slot... And not just for the type of anime it is. Its for the fact that is has no point, the main character is annoying, and oh yeah, it has literally no point. lol Whether a conclusion comes or not... A conclusion to a pointless anime won't have any meaning.  |

descent into insanity really well. The hair cutting should be the last straw.
I'll probably be laughing for five straight minutes next episode. Otherwise I hope he doesn't get 3 episodes. True route deserves the episode more since there's a lot of explaining to do.

I'd go with the former, normally otome game adaptations don't have a canon route. Fortunately, Amnesia has one and

Ikki doesn't appear in Shin's episodes though and he's just appearing here because he's relevant and it's impossible to cut him. In the game Shin was in Ikki's route as a co-worker (but not as a childhood friend) and supporting character. Same goes for everybody in Shin's route (as mentioned in ep. 3).
TL;DR: They are supposed to be there, the anime just cut them off because they're not really plot relevant to that specific arc. |

Yes, the lack of all the characters in the different realities is interesting, but probably, (realistically) better for the heroine - it would be kind of awkward to choose one guy and then still see the other 3 (4?) around all the time.
This ep was randomly unrealistic - Toma's supposed to be her oldest friend, but hasn't figured she's lost her memory - what kind of lover is that? Shin and Kento picked it up - Ikki didn't, but doesn't have the same closeness of relationship so that makes sense. Also - I know it's anime and therefore a far cry from reality but really - why would they go out and buy underwear etc - just go home and pick your stuff up! Also - why do pyjamas not exist in this world? I'm kinda icked out by everyone sleeping in their normal clothes

Watched a few episode so far, and I think... she's a pimp it explains why the other girls were roughing her up(maybe she couldn't deliver her promise?)
By the way, English is not my first language but because of Japanese anime like these it does not help me improve. The proper pronunciation for Orion is not like how the protagonist says his name. She sound it like "O-re-on" but it's actually "O-rye-un"
Edit: I have no fashion sense so I wouldn't entirely understand, I can somewhat comprehend why... Shin would wear those ridiculous unmatching colour boots I mean from where I am it is rare but you do sometimes come across a mime performer at some tourist attractions(circus) or theme parks, however, I think that Ikka fellow's suit with chains instead of buttons is way too extreme.

My problem with this anime that since this one is an adaptation of a SIM game , why not be creative and try to recreate that atmosphere when one is playing the game but instead they went for a mystery drama type of anime basing on what premiss of the story is and the script comes out really bland and boring. Plus the Intro is very boring.
As a result I dont feel any attachment to any of the characters at all and I dont care what happens to her.
I have been watching this anime to see if it improves but it feels like we went back to ground zero everytime the switch happens, so I would end up watching a few minutes of the episode only.
The character design are really nice but heck its doesnt fit the location nor the era. And since the characters are very poorly written , I have no desire to recreate these into costumes no matter how awesome they look.

If nothing else I want to finish the show to see where it goes. It's not amazing, it's not terrible but I still watch it week after week, which is more than I can say about the shows I thought I'd love(Vividread Operation, Tamako Market). I do like the heroine though but that could probably just be because I like meek/shy personalities like that.

I've been watching this anime and...I've been on the fence about how I feel about it. It started off boring but I was so curious about how it will end. I'm even trying to track down the PSP game. BUT, things are revealed so slow! The anime has so much potential...

Toma buying the heroine underwear instead of going back home to retrieve it is just a testament of how controlling he can be. Honestly, he comes off creepy the whole episode exactly because he is taking the "big brother knows best" stance.

I'm surprised you would mention Shin seeing that Kent is by far has the most bizarre outfit of the cast. Also Ukyo has manheels.
You should probably ask again after the series ends. The last 2/3 episodes will determine if all the buildup they did was worth the plot execution.

I think the worst part here is that they are trying to recreate the premise of the story. Amnesia was 70% mystery and 30% romance. The real problem is the script is really bland and the character interactions seems stiff and forced. If I hadn't played the game, I wouldn't care about the characters either.
