Yay!! Episode 10 rocked!! I feel sorry for all those that quit this show early!

This bad end is actually the tamest death (and it is Kent's bad end, damn I'm still bitter about Kent getting one episode and now this, way to rub salt on the wound) by virtue of Evil!Ukyo being at his most 'gentle'. He mercilessly stabs her in Shin's Bad End, and pushes her in a well on Toma's. Let's not even go to the bad ends in his own route which I'll doubt we'll ever see.

Argh!! Kent's bad end?? That is indeed salt in the wound! Fitzgerald I think you need to tell all us Kent fans what the good ends are in his route because it seems unlikely we'll see him again now :(.

Agree - especially as later on in the ep he says 'just as I thought, but then why was she so..?' as though he was surprised that she wasn't her real self now that they were back in their original reality.

Other random thoughts on this ep: someone mentioned the repetition of the clock tower inferno scene - I went back and checked and actually in that short clip the heroine goes through a series of the deaths she experiences on the various routes (falling off the boat/looking up at the moon a la getting chucked off hospital roof) so are these all

Also I agree with Fitzgerald that Ukyo couldn't have told her all the details from the outset because he was clearly aware that
so it totally made sense that he wouldn't spill until after earning her trust.

On a total sidenote - I could listen to Kouki Miyata's voice all day long so go Ukyo!!

That's a good idea! But far too sensible and obvious therefore unlikely to actually see action!

But in this last reality all of the boys were there with her in the cafe and yet, apparently, none of them are claiming to be her significant other (she's been in this world for like a week according to what Orion was saying - time enough for any of them to have made their move)

I enjoyed the last episode too and am glad I kept watching the show. Somehow it has held my interest throughout, enough mystery to keep me hooked and interesting visuals and music. I know I keep saying that but I will keep saying it until the end. Hope we get a resolution at the end rather than just "play the game", will see....

That's been my experience as well. Just enough intrigue to keep me watching. I also hope they create some nice wrap-it-all-up ending even if you wouldn't have such in the the game.

Anyone thought maybe Ukyo could be the same person regardless of how it looks?

I watched the first episode half way and decided I didn't like it, then I finally finished watching it and watched the next 2 episodes and fell in love with it!

Yeah, u always gotta watch at least a few eps since some animes take a while to get really interesting. I remember Reborn! took till ep 20 before it got good, I remember wanting to drop that series right away, but I kept watching since people said it got better, and they weren't kidding, lol.

Twenty episodes, wow! That's dedicated alright. I generally know right away if I love a series. A great series grabs me right away, even a good one has me after the first three. No way I would last twenty if I didn't love it, that's longer than a one cour series...

Or they could be implying that she is supposed to be dead already in this alternate universe. Then you could make the argument for "fate" rather than an "intelligent planet" much like the Final Destination movies....

I agree with you on that. I have hard enough time watching two episodes of a series I don't like, yet alone 20. Why suffer through a show on the basis of hoping it MIGHT get better later on. There are plenty of other good shows that I haven't seen that can possible entertain me more.

I agree with you agreeing with me.LOL

Seriously, I watch a ton of simulcasts so unless I crave a show I will forget to watch it, unconsciously dropping it. I also love rewatching and buying series but only if they immediately make me look forward to watching the whole thing again. When I am watching 25 simulcast shows a week you have to be really good for me to take time to rewatch you.

To get back on topic, Amnesia I look forward to each week but I don't think I need to watch it again or buy it. Good but not great or a masterpiece. Not emotional or visually artistic enough to make me want to watch it again and once the mystery is solved the previous episodes will be odd to watch.

I think you're right there. It's kept me watching but I don't think, once you know the outcome, that it would be worth watching again.
