What I didn't like about the show is

I really enjoyed discussing the show with you guys, it made my experience with Amnesia super fun I really enjoyed watching the mystery unfold - too bad the ending made me lose sight of the good stuff that happened earlier on.

See you around on CR!

Just came to see how the ending was you guys, was it worth the watch as I dropped it. When I created this thread I was shocked on how I liked the first episode, it was great. Can't believe how time has flown since the first episode aired.
Can anyone tell me without spoiling that much is it worth picking up again. I stopped around episode 4 I believe.
It was a short time while posting on here when watching but thanks for everyone who did and share opinions on this series.

You find yourself asking wtf is her god forsaken name at the last episode still, it kinda had a chance to rebound with the events that occur at ep 8-10, but that ending was awful(?) if you want to use that word.

Taking the above sentence with a grain of salt dropping it at episode 4 did wonders to your life.

I think the majority of people here would say that it's kind of a "meh" series. We were all hoping that everything would make sense by the end but... it didn't quite work out that way. It also prolly could have used another ep or 2 to further elaborate on some things, since the ending seemed kinda rushed and didn't make the most of the drama that built-up by the end.

But u never know, u still might end up really liking it. Personally, I enjoyed the mystery aspect of the show and doing a little detective work by revisiting certain scenes to try and figure some things out, but that's just me. I know most people wouldn't do that.

I've seen two people rate this series as meh... meh again is too kind for this series. This is one of those series that I would personally beat to the ground on how god awful it was since the ending (the most important aspect to me) was utter garbage.

Yea thats how I thought of it, meh and confusing and thats a shame it didn't give much of an ending then.

U know, since u watched up to ep 4, u prolly could watch from maybe ep 9 on up and u wouldn't really miss very much! Everything that happens from eps 5 - 8 are pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, and the show could actually do w/out them.

Eventually it'll prolly be a news article on ANN (Anime News Network). But u can always check the main description page of Amnesia: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=14811 because eventually, if it does come out here in the States (it may not though), the Blu-Rays and DVDs will be listed here as well as the places to buy them.

Can u read Japanese? It looks like date has been set for the Japanese Blu-ray and DVDs on the Japanese Amnesia site: http://www.anime-amnesia.com/contents/hp0017/list00000000.html

Thank you! I'll keep an eye on those pages you suggested! I can't read Japanese.... I've just started with Hiragana but I'm having a hard time remembering. I'm old ( ) and my brain isn't working as well as back when I learned English...

Here is the first volume, it has links to other volumes, on amazon.co.jp, just released 2 days ago:

http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00ALNOLLA

This is Japanese only however so... you might want to wait for the Sentai release instead later this year:

BTW, I was 34 years old, 7 years ago when I started learning Japanese so you are NOT TOO OLD!!!! You can do it!

In my opinion, not worth picking up again. Aside from cute guys and interesting clothes (which didn't keep my interest all that long), the main thing keeping my interest was the little bit of mystery of figuring out just what and why this was happening to Heroine. Well, we did get that answer (mostly), but it was done as a great big couple of expository monologue info dumps crammed into the last episode. So, I guess if you were really curious, you could just watch the last two episodes, but I don't think you'll find it a very satisfying experience.

this anime is made for those who played the game because i never played this game and as a result I could not get into this dull main character and weak script,

even though i decided to finish watching this when its completed because of curiosity and still i end up falling asleep....its kinda like i wake up and see whats going on and then i would say " ahh so that's whats going"... zzzzzzzz

and if their objective is to get peeps to buy the game, think again...

Surprisingly though, the series is well received in Japan, so much so that it has a lot of related merchandise released, such as Drama CDs, books, Character music CDs, etc..

When the DVDs get released in the U.S. though, I have a feeling they won't sell very well.
