I was reading this on reddit. and thought it was cool.
anyway what would you tell someone that appeared from the 1950's or more far back.... what would be the most difficult thing to explain to them about life today

Anyone from 1950 wouldn't find today too different from 1950 (believe me). Sans a few technological and cultural tweaks, 1950 wasn't that barbaric. Just slower with less noise and connectivity.
However, someone for 1850 would probably have a hard time adjusting to the speed at which we live life today. I don't think people realize just how compressed our lives have become.
