After taking a bachelor's on economics and philosophy, I am one year away from a Law degree, specialized in commercial and corporate law, and three years away from being a judge. I am 25.

side note: i feel like a complete education isn't a worthy investment anymore.

Wait...are you really saying that it's not worth $100,000 plus interest plus room/board plus the implied loss of four to five years of wages that could have been earned while still living for free at home and invested? Are you really saying that??

i'm saying to keep your money and work. or eat. i'll just eat. ^_^

Got a pair of Bachelor's.. definitely worth it for me. I might go for my Master's later, since I've been thinking about teaching for a while now and the local university is pretty insistent that professors have at least one of those.

GED not proud of it but hey I'm doing better than most of my friends who graduated from highschool. Most of them don't even have a job yet and I do

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree on management. Not liking it so much but there's one more year left so I'm gonna hang in here til' it's all over. I'm thinking of pursuing a Law degree but I'm thinking maybe I'm too laidback for that.

And so far, we have a bell curve, as expected from a general population poll.

I think organized education's main benefit lies in the economy of scale. You can probably learn all that you can learn in your garage if you really tried, but you'll rarely have the opportunity to utilize the efficiency provided by a collective of peers with similar goals -- united we stand, as they say. I guess education is like joining a club.
