Both Wiki and Anime News Network list it as coming out Jan 15th? Someone trolling us?

Wikipedia is based on user supplied material, so it was probably just a contributor repeating the information from ANN as a supposed reliable source. (I've seen them do that with number of episodes as well, despite the fact that ANN defaults to "Titles: We have 12", for any show they don't have any episode count for).

If you are a member at ANN, you'll also see a button where you can contribute to ANN Encyclopedia listings. While you are requested to offer source(s), I have my doubts they spend much time vetting the reliability of any submitted sources.

The fact that no one else (i.e., Countdown, FansubDB, Fansub Wiki, Moetron) list Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W as a winter series, much less list that premiere date means I am safe in saying it won't premiere this season. Even in an ANN article only a month ago, they didn't mention what season it would premiere.

When you get a season 2+ but don't already have the earlier seasons in your catalog, do you think you could answer two questions for us when you announce these titles?

(1) Where can we (legally) watch earlier seasons if you don't have them and don't intend to get them? E.g., does Hulu or an anime distributor have it for streaming? This would be great for helping us catch up, if we have time.
(2) How easy it will be to follow and enjoy these later seasons if we haven't watched the earlier seasons? E.g., if season 2 is a direct continuation of season 1, it might be hard to watch 2 before 1. If not, 2 might stand alone OK. It would help to know this.

Thanks! I'm always happy to see so much new anime come here.

I knew they wouldn't get the one I wanted. Hopefully Funimation gets it at least.

Well in that case, this new season has really disappointed me :/

I really wouldn't recommend jumping into Little Busters from 14 to be honest.

You really need the build up early on for any sort of impact.

Which one did you want?

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT and Hetalia: The Beautiful World were destined for Funimation, and the odds favored them getting Senran Kagura (although it was no more certain than them getting Vividred Operation, which CR got instead).

Viz doesn't announce late, so it seems very unlikely they will have anything new for this season. TAN's two announced this week are likely all their exclusives, and AoD finished their announcements, so it leaves the usually-late Funimation as the only hold-out.

I had let me subscription lapse, having missed the Black-Friday deal, but I'm signing up for another 3 months now after seeing these titles - VividRed, Little Busters, Ore Shura, and continuing Sakurasou. Thanks CR!

I have a Funimation Elite membership, though I haven't seen any simulcast announcements yet - though I would like to see Haganai NEXT.

Senran Kagura is almost assuredly a FUNi title, as it's going to be streaming in the US next week, by someone.

On RT, it appears that someone will begin streaming Senran Kagura in the US next week.

The Anime Network took it. I hope they allow one week free viewing like CR. Not subscribing to more than one anime site.

Unless things have changed, they offer the first episode or two for free and you have to pay to watch the rest. I don't think they have an On-Demand service either.
