I don't know...I guess any anime that isn't Shounen since it seems to me like the vast majority only watch things like "the big 3" or whatever. :P
Aside from naming off older lesser known titles (which isn't really a case of people disliking them as much as it's a lack of exposure), it seems to me like there's an audience for most of the anime that I enjoy.

Eureka Seven, it's my favorite anime, yet people I know in real life who have seen it or have shown it to have disliked it.

Well there's an anime its not that people don't like it but it seems NOOOO-ONE knows what it is and its like my Favorite anime and its called Baccano. also i knows is blasphemes but i prefer this anime dub over sub.

For me it's gotta be the Full Metal Panic! series... (Original, Fumoffu, and TSR)
Well I can't say it's not popular, currently all three seasons rank among Anime News Network's top 50 "Most Popular" I guess they hit their peak when they came out (2002, 2003, and 2005) and then just faded away because it seems like most anime fans nowadays haven't heard of it.
I'd definitely recommend it though! Solid plot, wonderful characters, and the visuals are amazing, even by today's standards. My only issue with it is that TSR ends with a lot of unanswered questions, almost like it was setting you up for a 4th season that sadly never came  |
