What can't you put in the trash that's old and beaten up?

This lovely, plain gray hoodie.

Only special thing is I've had it for years and it still fits. I'm decidedly attached thanks to its timeless awe.

People have a hoarding mentality much like how my mother still keeps her ex husband around.

I feel bad tossing shoes and clothes (like old socks or underwear). Makes me cringe.

My life. Wait, that was really depressing. Honestly though, anything that was given to me by someone else.

I keep all my movie tickets, just as a reminder of what I've seen. The oldest one I have is my ticket for Wicked (musical, not movie, but whatever) from 2005. I also have a postcard I got from my ex-best friend years ago when she went to Niagara Falls. Even though we're not friends anymore, I've kept it.

Oh, I still have my N64 and all my games as well. That thing is durable and has outlasted all my other consoles.

^ wow, didn't even read your post before I typed my response, yay for tickets!

There are so many things that I can't throw away..

but, one example for me :

Movie tickets. My mom always throws them away in the end, but I love keeping them and I want to keep them until I become really old because my memories are ingrained into these thin slips of paper.

It would also be nice to show my grandchildren the tickets from 50+ years back. [: <3

I have a lot of binders, half of them emptied out in anticipation for the next portfolio I never had to put together, the other half crammed full of papers I don't need anymore. Should just throw the whole box out eventually.
