for me it's xxxholic because it got me into it with the first volume
tsubasa did too but not as much
and true that it does teach you a lot about humanity which is a cool thing

Well personally I like both, they both have a very good storyline, and it teaches you a lot of stuff, though what it teaches you is different for each anime

I prefer the story of xxxHolic but i like the characters in Tsubasa more, but they both have my favorate mokonas so they its win win situation either way

i think Tsubasa in acton and suspence but xxxholic has some meaning and links to japanese mythology...the supernatural....all the episodes teach you somthing

we~ll, xxxholic. it has refereces to japanese folklore [which i'm really interested in]. and watanuki-sama is sooo kind and soooo~ lovable and soo~ adorable~ XD besides, trc's a bit too... sad.. for my liking (nevertheless, it is a great anime/manga). so, there! lolz XD

I watched Tsubasa Chronicles first so I guess i kinda love it a lot.
xxxHOLiC was funny and i'm not really the funny-anime kind of person, but still it was amazingly good.
I would say:
xxxHOLiC is better as an anime
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles is better as a manga
