I'm always suspicious when handed a scene like that, that it might not be what it most looks like. Of course it might not be what it looks, I just like how it ended...didn't see that coming sorta thing.

It's not Tamayura-type, but there's no mecha or evil entity spoiling the quietness of "cute girls doing cute things" ...not yet anyway. It probably fits betting comedy-drama though, but it does have a slice of life feeling. And I agree that post-credits ending smells of red herring (lol puns). It's either the moms boyfriend or the detective woman.

Click to show or hide 1) when she first hears that Kotoura won't stop investigating until she's cleared Moritani. Moritani is suddenly cleared. THEN the attacker stops. 2) Don't go into the that there briar patch it's really dangerous. 3) the attacker knew Mifune's name and said 'She really came' as if she was expected. possible connections a) the attacker is The detective. b) the attacker is supported by the detective. (maybe a relative, maybe the only friend of a woman who claims not to have friends) c) The most damning evidence is coincidence and the only connection is that the dectective and the cops are hoping to trap the bad guy. (ie the warning about 2nd street was sincere. and the badguy knew Mifune's name for some other reason. Like meeting her in the hotel dinning room?) some of the things the detective has said and done in this episode though, they make me wonder at her deliberately 'nice' and placid appearance. I wonder if it's a facade for a truly clever, (gifted?) person, and perhaps even a malign one to boot.

I reckon that the criminal must be tsukino most likely. Also I lol'd so much on how Katoura-san got thrown away by everyone at Moritani's dojo lol when she came to hug moritani with open arms lol.
