Great show but glad I have the manga so I know what happens next. Might die of suspense otherwise... So gut wrenching!!!

Not sure I wanted to see this last thread page. Would rather not read what someone else knows will happen in advance. If I wanted to know that, I would go read the manga while I wait for next week. While this is an awesome anime, I cannot fathom what it was like to have to wait a week for each episode of Clannad After Story. I'd be a mess for about 3 months. I'm glad I was able to watch all the episodes within a few days. I know it's going off subject but just what I was thinking.

Now that episode 3 has come and gone, I can say that this anime is by-far the one to beat out of the new season. I'm so glad that they decided to keep the dark undertone of the series throughout instead of just being depressing the first episode and then changing into a light-hearted comedy. Manabe is also one of the more interesting male protagonists I've seen lately, I like everything about him thus far. Goofy yet reliable...my kind of guy (as in a good buddy).

Love this show, while I was looking forward to it and love the manga, the anime adaptation is amazing! Surprise favorite of the season. And agreed, I love the emotional roller coaster ride they have continued each week. Just when I think my heart has been stomped as flat as possible, they do it again. And great laughs too, and cute moments. And great characters... All from a four panel, three book (4th next month) manga! |

It goes to show you that the hole you spent your life in is pretty difficult to climb out of. One situation was all it took for her to fall back to the bottom.

I really really love this show I laugh long, loud and hard at it. My family thinks I'm crazy now.
I do have some questions though. If she knows everyone thinks she is weird because of it then how come she doesn't just ignore it? Or does she not know the difference between when they are talking regularly and when they're thinking? I had the question of whether Manabe was the only one whose she can see that clearly but it was answered when the guy was thinking about dissecting her. Also that beginning was seriously dark. I was like what kind of anime is this? But I also think it makes it better because you can understand why she feels so badly about her powers and where the dark place she goes is from. Also how badass is Manabe? He was already kind of beat up and he still beat down of four guys |

If an anime simulcasts and no one is around to watch it does it make a sound?

And I like that every character has some emotional baggage. That OP gets me every time too lol, especially when she's rubbing on him with that expression on her face. I didn't know that it was a four-panel manga, that's pretty impressive how the anime is so fluent, it doesn't seem like it came from a 4-panel manga at all. I just love the perfect balance between cute and unique humor and serious, saddening developments. It's my favorite of the season though~ So glad I decided to watch the first couple episodes. |

Well just watched ep.3. Really don't know what to make of it. If I should keep watching or not. The cliffhanger at the end didn't work.
Where did she go?!? |
