I saw the news of it here months ago but the movie is live action so we won't see anything new but i'm still pretty excited for it.

Live action? What do you mean?

Non-animated. As in a real life adaptation on the LN's/Anime.

Even though I want to bash my head, I kind of like the English Dub of the series. It's not bad because it has it's own charm. But I love the Japanese cast a lot more. It might be due to the fact that I watched the series over and over and over when I had the chance because I loved the story and characters. But anyways if you have a chance, you should check it out for yourself

I was surprised by the dub to be honest. I think it sounds pretty good for the most part. The voices fit; I didn't feel like I was listening to a voice that didn't belong. So I have nothing to complain about, to be honest.

If I had choice, I would ask Monica Rial to voice Maria. I just couldn't take Kristi Kang's voice and really picture her as Maria, but I believe that's the only one I had a problem with casting. But it was great

That is my only issue as well. When I saw the cast the first thing I looked for was that. Besides that, I have no issue at all

I honestly wasn't too excited about the cast, and after seeing the trailer, I was hoping for something more. Haha, maybe I'm to quick to judge but the characters don't really match the anime too well imo. I saw this really cute cosplay of Sena today though, wish she was part of the movie.

So, I wrote this song about Rika, and since I have no real friends or fans to share such a thing with, I thought I'd post it around some Haganai forums in hopes that someone somewhere would enjoy it as much as I did writing and recording it.

I was watching the first season, and by mid-way, I realized I'd gotten hooked. Then, a scene came up where Rika was being her usual self, and Kodaka asks "Why do you have to be so... Rika?". I immedately paused the episode, grabbed my guitar, and came up with the song. A few other tracks later and it was done. (Then I watched the rest of the season.)

So, here it is, I hope someone likes it, if not... Well, I still like it... So I guess I have that:

It may be awhile still for s3 of the Anime, as for people complaining about the Live Action cast not lookng like the anime cast....you do realize how ridiculous they would look if they tried to match every character detail...people do not really look like that in japan...well save the subcultures like anywhere else.

I am being a dick for my first post on CR ....I will end with ....I share a lot of the same opinions about the end of s2, but the live action will not liekely catch the true essence of the anime (did I just say true essence? o_O), but if you are like me and enjoy Japanese Movies (not just the big budget martial arts movies, there was this one about a photographer getting a letter from his
ex lover...Love collage ...I think it is on netflix, it is funny, goofy, sad, and just kind of wtf at moments. If you are not used to drug use in some Japanese cinema you will get the WTF. ...hmm an live action example that didn't live up to the anime but was still fun....Kimi ni Todoke. I enjoyed it anyway..

I miss Haganai very much and it's been months since the last episode. I would like to know if there are any news if Haganai will have a 3rd season or not. Im just very anxious about it. The ending didn't settle my expectations. If anybody has any news of the anime, please share them.

Thank you.

Well to be honest with you at this time, there's not enough material from the Light novel to make one season. So to answer your question, I don't see a new project being green-lighted any time soon.

May be I should take a break from watching anime based on how the state of anime is going on. Im angry that there will not be Haganai anytime soon. Plus the fact the bad ending of tokyo ravens and the end of my favorite series without knowing if they're getting renewed. Thats frustrating.

Both Haganai and Tokyo Ravens ended with nearly all of the source material exhausted. They can't do another season even if they wanted to.
Also making an anime during the publication of a novel / manga helps not only increase the sales of that novel / manga, but also helps draw more interest to the anime. They have a lot more incentive to produce an animation during publication than after publication has finished, so you most likely will get very few animes that cover a complete story in a single season.

!!!THERE ARE SPOILERS IN MY COMMENT, FAIR WARNING!!!

I recently discovered and watched both seasons of this wonderful anime, and while I really enjoyed the characters, I'm a little annoyed at the cliffhanger at the end of season two. I hope season three comes, and knowing that it may never come, that would devastate me, and I'm guessing a whole bunch of other fans who want closure.

In addition, considering how many "flags" have been raised, and the minimal progress made with the heroines, I can't really isolate a favorite, although I will say I started off in love with Yozora, but had a moment where I wanted Sena, then started liking Rika. In many Harem-style anime/manga, the protagonist is often a male who is oblivious, either emotionally or physically, to the female sex. I found Kodaka more complex, because he's aware, but unwilling because of some deeper issues. I enjoy that conflict he has with multiple female love interests with his own desire simply to exist with a nucleus of friends.

I eagerly await a 3rd season, because I really want to see closure for the characters and the choices that await the protagonist.
