This law applies to far more than physics however, it applies to almost everything in life. What do you think of when you hear it?

Okay give me one example.

Any form of reaction from a action, it could be how a ball bounces when you drop or throw it or how someone reacted when you said something to them. I can't even begin to list the amount of replies that could be generated from this.
Edit: or even how you reacted to something or someone it can be just about anything. Just what comes to mind is what I was saying.

So like.
Karma?

Karma could be one way of seeing it although that wasn't what I was originally getting at. I was just saying for instance a response from anything that you see, do or something, or someone else does as a reaction to a action.
Edit: It could be anything from throwing a dog a ball and watching the dog return it or stare at it, or from greeting a family member or significant other and them returning it with a greeting or smile. Even watching a drop of water from a leaking faucet burst as it hits the ground.

You posted this thread. I saw it. I posted in it. Now I will most likely ignore its existence.

Reminds me of the time in middle school when the science teacher was bringing that up, I punched the girl next to me in the shoulder and she punched me right back and the teacher was like "WTF R U DOING?" and I was like "Proving Newton's Law"

Nonononon throwing the ball and having it fly away from you is an action/reaction, the ball being returned by a dog is a separate set of actions/reactions. After all the universe isn't broken when the dog don't return the ball.
Also don't forget to factor in entropy when talking about karma

I agree upto a point it's just I don't think every action has an opposite reaction. It is also reliant on adhering to the theory that energy can not be created or destroyed but can only change form.

I think of the saying there can be no good without evil, and i think of everyday situations, like the girls ive been sleeping with told me she has a boyfriend, i am now not speaking with her anymore, it applies all over the place

I agree that for every action there is a reaction but whether or not the reaction is equal and opposite is highly debatable.
