Openness, respect, honesty, and alot of spontaneous thinking outside the box. Remembering all of the good times when the bad times inevitably come.Unconditional, unexpalainable, wild, crazy love is what keeps a relationship going.

I disagree with unconditional and possibly a few others I didn't read.

Depends on how deep you want your relationship to go and want it to last. You can love unconditionally and not even be together. It's a choice and some people aren't capable of it.

Yeah, but do you understand the depths of unconditional? Psychopath killed your whole family over how they criticised his hair and you still love him. That's unconditional.

That's a good one.

magical love fairies that watch over couples and keeps them together, but they are always fighting the evil gnomes that are always trying to split couples up, very intense battle and sadly sometimes the gnomes are to much for the fairies and couples break up.

My, you are extreme tarel. If you chose to give your love to such a person and that did occur you would feel hate. But in the end ,while they were rotting in their jail cell it should become clear that something made you love that person in the first place, they are sick, and if you don't do something it will eat you alive and take your life.Apply highest form of love-forgiveness.You do not need to tangibly be with a person to love them. You can give a person conditional or unconditional love or none at all. It is always your choice.

Playing a bit of an extreme case aren't we? even in love societal norms generally still apply.. you watch someone hurt your mother/father and unless your rather unbalanced yourself one tends to react negatively to that.

Anyway's relationships are an odd thing since some need to be completely open and be unconditional to thrive while others are a bit more independent but still trust one another. For me personally I am a fairly guarded person so a lot of these feelings don't come easily but if I had to pick out the most important thing to me.. I would say I need to know I can trust that person more then anything.

For me the best advice came from the grandparents..

"Forgive easily and have a short memory"

And that will never lead you wrong.. because everyone stumbles sometimes but if you really care for that person you should be there to help them back up.. just my thoughts.

Doesn't matter. That's the range of unconditional.

Well yes from a dictionary stand point you are correct.. but when people tend you use unconditional its generally from a social/economic point of view ie. being rich or poor, colour of their skin, having a nice car, having / not having body hair, loving anime, etc. etc.

Most people when using the word do not extend into social extremes or criminal violence but I am sure those happen too.. so yes you are correct but at the same time I think you know your out a bit far on this one haha
