Magical, supernatural fight anime I would say, definitely not slice of life though I agree it would be fun to live in the Garden!
Just watched all the episodes including the latest one at work. All I can say is the poster picture CR use is very misleading.
there's a girl with pink hair and bunny ears on the poster and the show is called Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they?
there's also a small synopsis on the show page...
you really shouldn't judge a show by its poster image

Thats a very tiny picture, especially if you are looking at it from the phone you won't pay too much details to it. Secondly even if one of the girl does have bunny ear I felt that it just means it's another slice of life anime about a group of friends one of them is a girl... who wears bunny ear muffs which is not out of the oridinary...

It's a shame to hear about the preorder sales for this show. I'd buy the crap out of it if I had money to speak of. Definitely in the top 3 this season for me.

I was under the impression that "slice of life" meant the activities of normal, everyday people that the viewer could kind of relate to.........
I don't know how anyone can gauge anything from a poster image. I mean, after the first few couple of episodes of Shin Sekai Yori I still had utterly no idea in which direction the show was heading. For me, I kind of like that, that some shows don't fit into a pat little genre. |

It is funny, this season we have Maoyuu about the demon king and the hero, Senyuu about the hole in the ground the demon kings came out of which heroes fight and this show where the heroes fight demon kings in gift games... when it rains it pours! The settings are all quite different but it is funny to hear Maou, Maou, Maou, Yuusha, Yuusha, Yuusha this season!

Counting last season, Robotics;Notes takes number 1. GJ Club gets 2nd and Problem Children and Hyobu Kyosuke can duke it out for 3rd. Magi and Psycho-Pass also get an honorable mention, and I haven't formulated an opinion on Blast of Tempest or Shin Sekai Yori yet.
