Basically, my mum worked at my primary school, and when this supply came in, she really didn't like me for some reason. There was no reason for it either, I was always a goody two shoes and I never got a detention or anything like that! Anyway, at every single opportunity she could get, she would shout at me, ask me to stand up in the middle of class, and I wasn't allowed to sit down! She kept saying, "I've heard your mum works at the school, I'll tell her you've been bad" and things like that Its a pity my 8 year old self was too dumb to realise what was happening, I'd give her something to reason with if it happened now!

Online	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 1/14/13 I remember in 2nd or 3rd grade elementary, the yard duty teacher made me and my friends sit on our hands on the pavement in a very hot day--that was our punishment for throwing sand at each other, we were playing around. We were just kids for christ sake. I had every right to sue. Looking back now, this was outright child abuse. Having an 8 year old, sit on his hands (hands under butt) in a hot day, on the black pavement, during lunch time (30 minutes). Torture. I remember it hurt too. The little rocks digging into my hands, bleeding a little... Too bad I never told my parents till about 8 years ago.

They were all pretty bad at their job, they didn't pay very much attention and tended not to bother with their students; getting kids in trouble for doing nothing. I don't think I ever felt bullied, just annoyed with them. They never really liked me, I guess that's something.
