What's more annoying, of course, is when people think it's serious and rise to the bait and write lengthy rebuttals, which just clogs thread space. BTW the term "trolling" is a fishing thing. To troll means to bait your hook and move slowly with your line in the water waiting to see what bites. Most "trolls" are just bored and waiting to see who takes the bait.
