Post Reply Image Favorite Can someone live in Japan and not speak Japanese?

^^That's why I plan to actually learn the language. It may be possible to live in Japan without knowing the language, but your better off just learning the language. It may be hard, but work hard and it'll be rewarding.

All you have to do is hang around tourist spots and you'll probably be able to pick up some japanese.

^I was never able to pick up japanese from subtitled anime. I'm better at noticing the things I've learned in the anime and dramas I watch.
