As long as they dont increase the cost of the subscription to pay for the dubbed Anime, i dont really care whether they have it or not. Does not affect my life in the least.

I'd really like some dubbed series like death note... claymore fullmetal alchemist also I think they should add all one piece episodes but probably bit much to ask for hahaha

I can't agree, got to be subbed the acting on most dubs is so lame. There is also the likelihood that the dubbing will be dumbed down, Kansai accents made to sound like Texans; in the old Sailor Moon RS, characters ended up with sex reassignments.

I agree but it took me long to get into subs/raw. Even when i was learning japanese i still didnt understand alot of it. It really helped when i switched over to subs and i got to learn more while at home and school taking japanese lit. Now its raw all the way baby

I could watch subs or dubs. I'm not picky. Sometimes I prefer dubs over subs so i can multitask while watching. Nothing like taking a second to take a bite out of burger and miss something that was said. But overall I don't really have a preference. I would suggest getting as many dubs as possible however, for those who don't have great reading skills. A few of my friends love anime but can't keep up with subs because of poor reading skills.

ive seen dubbed anime in hotd/sao....whether its bad voice overs or improvise or Americanization it changes the characters
changes the actual dialog entirely, thus altering the original artist /directors concept
its subtle but its there...in sao kirito is turned from a respectful honorable type to a punk
in hotd mia is turned from a snotty no it all to a snippy self absorbed girl among other comparisons

okay...... you do know that your so called "subtle" changes in characters can be accomplished in dub right? you don't need to say the exact translation to accomplish that you know.

both esclunatic and zetsuei38 have valid points. I will say though, the orginal direction gets altered sometimes. what may seem like a tender moment in the sub may not come across the same in the dub. new cast and directors always bring something a little different. a good example would be supergals. hate it dubbed. the characters don't come across the same way in the dub. in the end- I think any anime should always be tried both ways. theres something to be appreciated for both versions. happy anime watching!
