It would be nice to have more dubs on Crunchyroll. The player here is more reliable than other sites.

I like dubbed when I want to surf the net and have a show on the TV at the same time.

Same here ^.^ even though the Sailor Moon dubs were horrible I grew up watching it. Some anime weren't too bad like DBZ I thought that dub was ok.

I'm apathetic towards dubbed anime. I guess CR could appeal to a wider audience by hosting it, but I don't see the point. Dubbing is such a hit/miss game as it is, and most people in the otaku community prefer the subs.

There are times when I want to watch a DUB. And times where a SUB is fine. I would like the choice.

It really comes down to personal preference and I think CR would try to accommodate both if the cost justified the inclusion of DUBS.

I love watching certain anime dubbed but I realized as soon as I watched Shugo Chara that subbed is really good. There isn't Shugo Chara dubbed so I had to watch subbed and I realized that the Japanese voices match the characters better. Now if I have I choice I always watch subbed but sometimes I watch OHSH, Naruto and Azumanga Daioh dubbed.

Well after watching many anime in sub, you come to start to kind of understand what people are saying because you start getting used to the language , obviously I can't speak it, but if someone said a sentence, I would at least know a bit about what they are talking about. Dubs, in my opinion, are really for either younger people or people who are just beginning to like anime.

I generally prefer dubs to subs. I am familiar with more American VAs than Japanese VAs. Also, with dubbed anime I can put it on and do other things while watching it (like homework or cleaning). If I'm gonna watch a subbed anime, I have to sit down and watch it.

That being said, I do watch more subbed anime than dub simply because there is more subbed anime available. It's about a 60% sub 40% dub ratio.

There are some dubbed anime that I don't like at all, though. When that happens, then I switch to the Japanese track. The thing I don't understand is how when it is announced that a anime is going to be dubbed, a lot (but not all) of sub lovers groan about how it is going to ruin the anime. 95% of the time an anime is dubbed, both dub and sub are included. Sure there are some exceptions (like Persona 4), but that generally holds true. So watch the sub or dub or watch both!

Don't say dubbed anime is for idiots who can't read fast enough. Don't say subbed anime is for purist elitist jerks. Live and let live. Watch what you want to watch and let others do the same

I don't know why you'd want dubs, just my opinion but the Japanese voice acting is better 95% of the time.

Yeah Japanese voice actors all sound the same. The girls are all high pitched, and the guys sound like old men.

Edit: And Koraji, Holo sounds WAY better in english Brinas voice suited Holos character very well.
