I have no problem with dubs but I do prefer to watch all new anime sub first then dub. I like to see what English voice actor brought to the character or how bad the person placing voice actors to characters really was. The only reason I don't see crunchyroll getting more dubs is the fact that funimation and viz have there own streaming sites. I mention Viz but neon alley is the way not to do streaming. The only one I think they could get is sentia filmworks.

Bleach dubs would be awesome.

The black Power Ranger and Meryl Silverburgh fighting side by side?

It always bothers me when people argue that the Japanese VOs are better, though. They might sound less irritating as sounds, but unless you're bilingual it's impossible to have any idea how appropriate their delivery and inflection is. At most people should just say the English dub of a particular anime turns them away from it (which is a valid gripe), not that the Japanese delivery is better (unless you're bilingual). That's the sort of mindset I slap the 'pretentious purist' label on.

Don't plan on watching any of these ^^; but it's nice to know there is some dubbed content. I wasn't aware of that until I saw this.

I have seen so much subbed anime, that i just can't get used to the dubbed versions anymore. I prefer subtitles, but i don't really have any problems understanding english. (My first language is danish).

I would like to see a series in Sub first, then Dub later. It might be the same show, but a different translation and jam up VA can make the series better or make it worse.

Why can't Crunchyroll have english dubbed anime? I swear dub haters just piss me off going all "JAPANESE SUB IS THE BEST" well its not the letters cover up some of the artwork and it would be PREFERED if you knew japanese in my opinion (i even heard from actual japanese anime fanatics that even they think its not smart)

Course the only thing i'd accept is the opening's and endings so you can sing along to the music but that's just me

I also plan to be a dubbing Voice actor in the future, seeing so many dub haters just.....annoys me.... Like yes i understand they're are some bad voice actors (cough) new beyblade series! (gag) But not all are bad, come on Steve blume, Mel Blanc, Laura Bailey etc. i can keep on if i wanted to.

Besides if we didn't have dubbers anime wouldn't be such a huge trend in the internet so enjoy it :Y

I really want FMA on Crunchyroll. Fortunately it is widespread through YouTube, and is also available on Netflix. I have watched the dubs on both, and although it was my first dubbed series, it was kinda odd. Ed's voice is scratchy, and it just sounds odd coming from a a young (in terms of most anime, the average character is about highschool age) person. Al's voice shocked me the most by far. A huge giant suit of armor sounds like a little todler. I understand that Al is Ed's younger brother and that the voice is sync with the age; it was just a shock to me because I was expecting a deeper, more vibrating voice because of the size and depth of the character. Winry as well sounds a little quiet at times, and she can switch between a almost man-like voice to a very soft female voice.

By far the best two people in the series in terms of the voice meeting my expectations are Major Hughes and Pinako, they really were perfect IMO.

I think there should be more dubbed animes on Crunch Roll, it seems like there's not enough.

I'm glad I found this thread. I came to the forums for that exact reason. I knew there had to be one out there, thanks for making this.
