Do you feel more connected to the story when you watch more than 3 episodes at a time OR an episode a week?
For me, i think watching a anime for a long period gives me time to appreciate the story more. It's like reading a good book or watching a good film. That's why most of the time, I usually wait when the anime gets at least 15 episodes before watching. So, what about you guys?

Depends on the genre, i think action series lend themselves well to being drawn out so it's not just 5 hours of constant yelling and clashing. Shoujo on the other hand is better for marathoning because they tend to be slower paced so it's easy to appreciate/digest in large chunks.

98% of the animes i have watched has been already fully released. If i find an anime i like, i watch as many episodes as i can before i have to go to sleep.

Now that i'm on crunchy roll however, there is one or two series that i'm waiting for new episodes. But i'm still on ep.1, so i can't really compare.

But i pretty certain that i like watching as many as possible in a short time.

But that might be because i feel like i have to much anime to view. And therefor gotta watch as much as possible, as quick as possible

The padding needs to go. We've all seen how bad Bleach got with the fillers. You do NOT cram fillers in the middle of other story arcs! One Piece was just as bad as DBZ with the pacing. There's no reason why it should take 10+ episodes just to fight one guy!

The typical shounen anime are hard enough to fully connect with all the fillers and long fights especially with only one episode a week. I absolutely love Hunter x Hunter and Fairy Tail but I wouldn't really say I connect with them, I just simply enjoy them. Sure you can feel the emotion and passion of the characters but at the same time they are superhuman fighting unrealistic battles. My only emotion watching that might be ohhhhhhhhhhh that was awesome.

Shoujo and other drama like tittles are much easier to connect to. At that point it doesn't matter if i see one episode at a time or 20, if something is gut wrenching I'm gonna cry, get pissed off, etc etc. Kinda another reason I enjoy slice of life shows. They can be ridiculous but are generally easier to connect to and are simply fun to watch regardless of how many episodes are available.

Ummmm if you're saying do you feel more connected when you watch a series all at once (or season of a show) rather than waiting a week for the next episode then my answer is HECK YEAH. If I don't have all the episodes there right before me to watch at once (besides Naruto) then for some reason I really lose a connection to the story. I don't know why? I guess because I forgot all the 'little things' that happened in the episode before the new one so the newest episode doesn't mean as much if that makes sense???

sorry for making it sound weird when i said connected, but i meant it like having the urge to see more in that kind of way. Like, it's hard to explain but lets say you were playing a RPG game, like and Final Fantasy or Dragon quests, you wouldnt want to play it an hour and a half each week cause you would lose interest and lose the connection with what's going on in the story.

If I have to go a week between episodes, sometimes I would rather continue to watch per week rather than wait. But I love being able to marathon episodes. I feel sometimes it takes me an episode or two to get back to the state of being completely enveloped in the story. So if I can I prefer to watch back to back episodes.

Depends on how good the story is
Really good stories I'll be alright with one new ep per week

Average to somewhat bad plots I'll have to marathon it or else I just start forgetting major details lol
