I usually like to watch the first few episodes in a row but after that I don't mind a week if it a good story...

It depends on the anime. If it's something like Naruto, then I like to watch it once a week. However, stuff like AnoHana and Steins;Gate, I'll watch it mostly all in one go.

Shounen anime is so far what I've connected with most. -_- Personal preference I suppose. I enjoy shounen anime and I like watching it, but as someone who tends to watch every release in a season I find the other genres easier to connect to and get involved with (as opposed to giant arcs and such). If I'm watching a show that has a lot of episodes out already however, shounen anime are way to easy to get hooked on. |

I feel like I remember more if its drawn out once per week. I don't remember a whole lot of ano hana cause I had to watched it in 2 days lol. I think once a week forces you to pace yourself which is a good thing. Instead of watching 5 episodes of one thing why not 5 episodes of 5 different things. Keeps it fresh. People dwell on individual anime too much.
