Wow, I guess there are some pushy people asking for guest passes I'm glad that I don't get those messages often and that the few people who have messaged me have been polite about it.

Most of the time I don't have a guest pass to give anyway, I either post them or pick someone from the guest pass thread to give it to as soon as I get them.

It's irritating. Like you said, I have no problem helping out a fellow anime fan, but people that almost harass the users that actually pay the membership fee for their guest passes is ridiculous. I usually post my guest passes on new episodes of something I am watching so users who really don't want to wait a week, don't have to. :P

Anyway, I also have a guest pass. Anyone want it?

That's pretty much what I do. If a new ep is about to be simulcast and someone ask for GP in the comments I'll give them one if I have it. But some random person that's only been a member for a day or two that e-mails me and isn't even polite about it isn't getting shit. I use mine for folks that can't afford it and don't want to wait a week to watch the good stuff... I mean it's only $7 for a membership, but if you really can't scrounge that up I'll help you out if I can... So if you need one I have one left. Let me know....

Grab a pass. Marathon the whole season in two days. Pass expires. Do it again a week later. Save money.

I don't mind people giving away guest passes, but it really irks me to see people begging for guest passes in the forums, comment sections and worst of all by sending messages to random people. That's basically spam in my book and doesn't belong anywhere.

I spend more money on coffee every week than I do on anime in a month. The funny thing is, I spend more time watching anime every week than I do drinking coffee, but I refuse to give up one for the other.
