For one thing, there's lots of different types of lolicon. In a lot of works, the "children" are drawn in such a way that the only perceptible difference between them and the adults is height and bust size. And while I do enjoy a number of works in the lolicon genre, there's also a lot of really sickening stuff out there (if you're bored, go onto the Visual Novel DataBase and browse their lolicon section. If you're feeling particularly adventurous and not in the presence of anybody whose opinion of you matters to you, browse the VNDB lolicon section and click on "show/hide NSFW pictures" on all the pages. Actually, don't do that. Just don't). Really, to just say "lolicon is bad/good/gross/hot" is a sweeping overgeneralization and should be avoided.

If it's hentai, then you probably are a pedophile. If you don't try to screw little girls, you aren't a pedophile even if you are turned on by them. It's not wrong to have some fetish. What's wrong is losing your ability to reason and giving in to your instinct. Just my opinion.

nothings wrong with lolicon. The only problem is if the guy/girl (if its a girl then its shotacon) starts to give in to their urges and eventually goes out and does those horrible things to a child (damn you Sandusky).

Technically, Sandusky was a shotacon not a lolicon due to targeting boys not girls. It is still a mystery to what habits helped him develop this perverse interest.

This ^^ ... And really, that's all there is to it. There will forever remain a significant and very clear differentiation between fantasy and reality. So long as people don't blur those lines, no harm and no foul.

As long as you don't pull a Thad then it's okay, I guess. Well maybe not loli hentai. You obviously then have an attraction to underage characters which doesn't necessarily mean that it translates to real children but it is telling of one's mental state, especially if lolis are predominately or the only thing you find attractive.

NO it doesn't make you a pedo. Does playing violent video games make everyone a potential murderer? No, there is no harm being done. It's only a fantasy and isn't a problem as long as you can differentiate between fantasy and reality
