Just curious because in Yakuza 3...
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Rikiya's death made me cry as much as Kazuma did. And he cried a lot that it was almost out of character.
Or do you not feel emotions toward sprites and polygons? |

The very end of Final Fantasy X. That made me cry like a big baby. There were a few other games, but I forget. However, Final Fantasy X really stood out.

Gears 2 & 3 with Dom. The dude went through so much to get what he wished, then it it was snatched away from him.
Had me in tears and ready to kick Skorge and the queen's ass.

i think this is a little bit different, but once i went on a rocketship ride in my girlfriend's rocketship, on WoW, i was new and she was flying me around, i had smoked a lot before and everything looked so beautiful

The bioshock ending and story (the one where you are the big daddy), protagonist ending, made me emotional ^^

Bioshock. When you learn the truth of who/what you are and then the good ending with the little sisters.
2nd where you come so close to saving her only to have victory snatched away and again the ending, very emotional.
Expecting bioshock infinite will have something like this, I suspect it'll be a choice scene where doing one action will make the boss even harder but you did the right thing. Or you'll do the easy option but feel the pinch later in the game.
Prey. Tommy fights through alien abduction, insane puzzles and even death, only to have to kill the very thing that kept him living and kept his rage at bay. A bitter sweet victory.

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams' ending had me bawling for days! Besides this game, Final Fantasy X has been the only other game to elicit an emotional response from me.

Thats actually one of the moments that popped into my head when I saw this thread, Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide with the Blue Oni guy (god I suck with names) walking the staircase into the heavens and the ninja girl crying and begging him to come back.
Otherwise, end of MGS3, youd have to be made of stone not to feel something Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide as Snake/Big Boss salutes The Boss' grave after hearing what she sacrificed and how she would be remembered
Valkyria Chronicles 1....anyone who has played knows exactly the moment I mean.

Final Fantasy VII...I don't think I have to explain why, everyone should know this one by now.
Never before did I have such a desire to totally annihilate an end game boss.
Never before did I feel "real" hatred for a videogame character.

Persona 3 made me teary eyed at the end, not because I think it's sad, but because I just think the whole sequence is so beautifully organized.
Metal Gear Solid 3 on the other hand, gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME. No matter what I do, I can't make myself not cry at that ending.
And just for good measure, I'll say Shenmue II, because I'll never know what happens after it's events. Yes, that makes me cry.

I cried at the end of Mass Effect 3.
Well it wasn't really crying, it was more like softly sobbing while rocking back and forth mumbling "that can't be the end..." over and over again.

There're a lot I can think of... but the biggest ones:
After Cid dies in FF6 when Celes goes up onto the mountain. In FF7 when she dies. Mass Effect 3 when Thane passed away. The end of Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. FF10's ending always gets me, even just watching the cinematic on youtube like I go back and do every so often.
