Wow I didn't know it was that common to cry at videogame moments...
I've never cried because of a game, but then again... That counts for movies as well. Almost cried as a kid when ash was petrified in the first pokemon movie. I also came close once when Robert Neville (will smiths character in I am Legend) had to kill his dog, Sam. My own dog had just been put down a few weeks before I saw the movie haha, tough luck. Journey the PSN title made me feel kind of fuzzy at the end of the game, but wasn't tears, just mindblown with all sorts of emotions. Generally I never cry, so that of course has something to do with that, but those were the titles that made me come close to such a moment. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide i think this is a little bit different, but once i went on a rocketship ride in my girlfriend's rocketship, on WoW, i was new and she was flying me around, i had smoked a lot before and everything looked so beautiful i cried Hahahahaha this made me laugh, and totally relatable. Some of my best moments happend while I was high. |

Final Fantasy VI. Hands down.
Nothing comes close to the level of character development in this game. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Terra dealing with her heritage, then losing the will to fight only to find it again while taking care of orphans. Locke and his lose of Rachael and trying to find his place in the world and with Celes. Edgar and Sabin and the rift torn between them because of loyalties, then the lose of a kingdom and master. Cyan was the hardest for me, with the lose of his wife and child, his king and kingdom. I think moreover then FF IX, this game deals with life and lose. Asking the question, when in the most dire of circumstances, why to we continue to fight? I love the story, it was the first time I felt really connected to the characters in a game, by the time the ending came around, I just wanted it to go on, but I needed to give them their happy endings. I still play this game from time to time. In all it's 16bit glory. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide And Shadow is Realms father? That kicked me in the face. |

I need to play more FF games...
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 days. There were some sad moments in the game. The saddest that I've ever experienced in my gaming career. |

If we can't be honest, happiness and sadness are just meaningless.

A lot of Final Fantasy X's. I really need to play that.
I have to mention Valkyia Chronicles, which I got only recently. It's always the characters I like most that have to die. |
|
I have this Azusa addiction... Not the first time though.

I've never watched a single movie or read any books that'd make me cry.
I've played games for over three decades and as far as I can remember, there have been three that managed to make me cry. All of them recent ones. One of them was To the Moon, an indie adventure game. It'd be too spoilery to explain why. ...and the other two? Hatoful Boyfriend and its sequel, Holiday Star. Yeah, a pigeon dating game made me cry. Especially the final route. Seriously, you folks need to play that. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide '"Dear Lord, I beg of you, look into my heart and hear my prayer. In my next life, don't let me waste myself...let me use my body for the true happiness of everyone in the world." And then the scorpion burst into flame. A brilliant crimson glow. And by the light of his burning body, he lit up the night forever.' ...I am that scorpion now. I would burn a hundred times for my friends 'happiness'. |

Gears of War 3, the moment were Dom died made me emotional, but not to the point to make me cry -_- . In fact, I didn't find the game who made me cry once
. One day surely .Instead there a ton of manga that made me and those were the best moments and are the manga that I appreciate the most . |

I don't know if this really counts because it's a game based off of an anime, but both times when Asuma dies. Once in UNS2 when he's giving Team 10 his final words, and the second time in UNS3 when he's reanimated and they seal him away again. THE FEELS ;_;
And is it bad I almost cried when Vaas died in Far Cry 3? I mean, he's an enemy, but a damn good one. His death felt too short lived, pun not intended. |

Tales of Symphonia, as Collette gradually has her humanity stripped away from her...
The fate of Aeris in FF7, of course. I gave up on that game shortly after that point. |

Persona 3 still makes me sob and if I sing along to the end song I tend to tear up.
Tales of the Abyss makes me cry a bit too, although I'm not quite sure why. |
