I don't go showing it off, but I don't have a problem talking about it with people. I like it, and I just don't give a crap what people think about my interests. And I've found that more people than I expect like an anime themselves, be it anywhere from DBZ to SAO.

I work in a meat dept alongside 4 grizzled old butchers (I'm the baby at 32), so no, I don't readily admit admit to watching anime there. They do know I watch "cartoons" in the break room on my tablet though. I get some strange looks when I have my headphones off.
They'd rather talk about hunting and football and shit.

Lol that's what happens if you try to hide it ehehehehehe, i hid it for the first 2 years, then i just openly stated it in a presentation in class and explained Anime and Manga and it's existing genre, i got quite a few people interested or they just ignored it from that day on, everyone knows i like it, and if they ever start making fun of me for it, it's because of either something they've been shown to do with "Anime" or due to stereo types, but this basically never happens.

I have a small collection of anime t-shirts that I own specifically for going to the gym in. Peoples reactions when you squat 300+ pounds while wearing some moe shirt are just absolutely priceless.
