The reason those chicks came back to hang out with you is because they thought of you as a friend, they ignored you for awhile to give you space because it's kind of awkward when you have to reject your friend on a date. Trying to get into just a relationship with somebody is a lot more complicated and has a lot more repercussions than just having sex with them. Stop letting Hollywood romcom's tell you how the "dating scene" is and think about the reality of what a relationship actually is.

So watch out. Off topic but quite interesting. Recently I've read some cool research on the evolutionary behaviour of female black widow spiders. Apparently the most successful ladies advertise their prey caught in webs, even going as far as not eating caught food, just to give the impression "Oh my am I full! I've got so much food I can't even eat all of it!" The males are then aware there's no risk copulating with that female and will always choose her over other scarier ladies. Natural selection in action folks, how cool is that! g
