This kind of harassment is nothing new or surprising. Frankly, rural American evangelicals are much scarier.
A year ago a fellow Pastafarian had a revelation from the FSM directing same-sex couples to challenge same-sex marriage bans based upon our first amendment rights. As evidence of the FSM's direction, she presented a picture of his image in her grilled cheese sandwich. You can read the entire testimony (and see the sandwich) here:

Yeah, it's really hypocritical to challenge a religious lifestyle on the basis of someone religious challenging a homosexual lifestyle. There may be specific problems with the way some religious organizations use their influence to spread bigotry, but the issue of corruption and malpractice is hardly unique to religion.

Utah, likely Christian. Probably thinks America is founded upon Christianity. Republican.
I can attack religion because these faiths state that sodomy (anal and oral) is wrong and shit in their holy books. Also the fact that they never back anything up unlike science which is tried and tested.
Until the middle east become secular, they all got major ass problems. Living in Europe and the US is much, much better for promiscuous people and homosexuals.

I don't know. There are plenty of good people out there just as bad people. Religion can influence, but it is not the sole factor that defines a person. I do not condone such actions. And I always ponder the question, "why can't we all just get along?" Really makes me sad when others judge people based on ignorance. And this may never happen, but I pray for the day that humanity realizes that we are all equal no matter the what your heritage or sexual orientation may be
