I would probably say my reasoning i tend to fall for the meaner type is, When somone always gives in and never challenges you they can get boring. i mean yes being nice is good to a point but i mean come on if a person doesnt think for themselves and relies on one other person to come up with what to do all the time it comes across as clingy. Me being a guy wouldnt want to be the one in charge of all events with my girl. Plus if it turns out bad you normally feel the one to blame. Inderpendence strong will and productiveness are something anyone lacking competence in life look for. Act strong, be strong, live strong.... that way you will thrive.!!

It's been my experience that some people stay the same (personality wise) forever, and some people change. I've also noticed that those who go for mean people are sometimes those kinds of people who think they can change them (which they can't).....then it goes bad and all hell breaks loose. You can't "fix" people, they have to (want to) fix themselves. Also, some ppl are so infatuated, they don't see the reality in front of them and make excuses or ignore the meanness. (Rose-colored glasses) Sometimes, eventually they wake up and smell the coffee and leave, and sometimes their delusion lasts for years.......

I am too kind to people. They just use me like I have always been. I don't want that anymore. Both girls and guys.
I am giving kindness and getting nothing in return. Not even a gratitude. This does not only apply to here on internet only but also where I live.
I can go as far as saying they might give me respect in time. I believe that. I am having a rage inside that I still try to hold down. It wont solve a thing. I know that. So I try and think in their perspective. What are they thinking? I am not thinking that they are totally mean but they just make problems without knowing it. I get hurt and sensitive, tries to solve it with talking but of course that wont work. Have to adapt every single second and mass to survive. That is what I think. I want this life with happiness since I have been locked out of it for 8 years or more like a meaningless unacceptable life that I just let happen. Not anymore. I try to think what is the best I can do? I want my wishes without hurting other people or me. So how do I get out of this mess? I dunno. Small steps but it needs much more work now.
