My inner dialogue isn't about guilt, it's this...... OMG! I can't believe I got away with that! Ha, ha, ha, ha! ....... I feel like a bandit during those times. Life is like a game of tag, sometimes you're "it", sometimes you're not.

Nobody "deserves" anything, and nothing lasts forever. So relax, enjoy yourself, and suck every ounce of happiness and joy that comes your way while it's there..... before it's gone.

Sounds like a classic case of Guilt Complex. Allow the Sensei to explain this condition to you. There is even a checklist you can use for self evaluation:

Screw guilt!! Life's to short to fell guilty.. if you did something and you feel guilty about don't do it again! Feeling guilty doesn't solve anything!

I used to, but not anymore. Sadly i dont have an answer as to how i got rid of it, one day i just didnt care. Hopefully it works out for you soon.

You just need to relax. Don't worry about feeling guilty. Then you'll get guilt about "feeling guilt"... It turns into a cycle.

If you feel guilty, just relax and continue to do whatever it is you're doing.

And remember all people have their mental quirks... you may think others have things perfectly "together" in their brain... but they're just as confused and insecure as you. They probably just forget about it faster than you do.
