Say if I was interested in joining a group of a certain show, genre or anything else - and wanted to see all the groups available to join. Thank you.

Use the search engine at the top right corner. Just type something like "Sword Art Online" or whatever name you like and hit enter. Then, on the left hand side under the Search heading, click on Groups. That's it!
