Lol you use WoW as an example, WoW allows you to get that free trial before you have to enter any credit card/paypal information -.- That is not a valid argument.. Every site that has a Free trial after you have entered your information, of course it will start take money afterwards if you don't stop it, cause why would they even ask for the information, if they wouldn't take money of it? -.-

Good point made for u to resume payment just not automatically monthly payments cause i used to have premium in the past without Paypal and without credit card in which i did my payments monthly myself

Why can't you just support the anime industry as soon as possible and pay right away like I did?

Wait, doesn't Crunchyroll tell you it's going to charge you after the free trial is up? Don't most trials tell you that pretty clearly? Heck, Crunchyroll says exactly when it will bill you next even after you agree to the free trial.
If you don't take the time to read, that's really not anyone's problem but your own. It's not "shady marketing" or whatever, it's customer incompetence.
This thread has to be some kind of joke, I can't imagine it not being.

There is already a warning that says "Once your trial is over, you will be charged monthly" or something along those lines.

It's not "sneaky" if they put it there on the front page.

Saying you have "no internet" is not an excuse for not cancelling, internet is available at many places nowadays, example, the library.

Coming here to defame the site in the form of a "warning" is what I call "sneaky".

The more this guy talks, the more I laugh. Thank you for your ignorance, and to support my point that they tell you clearly I decided to make a new account to see the where/what they say about charging you. The second I clicked '14 day trial' I was presented with a screen that had a big button saying 'Continue' and right underneath it in about this sized text:

'If you want to keep the premium membership after the free trial, simply do nothing -- your membership will automatically renew at $11.95 per month. If not, cancel online anytime. You can also upgrade to the one year plan to take advantage of the lower rate. '

Yes, they tried to hide it SO HARD.

Its normal that they continue to bill you unless you cancel it. Consider it punishment for abusing the free trial, and then not paying attention

If u put free trail somewhere and it automaticly attaches itself to your monthly payments its pretty sneaky marketing. Like i said im just trying 2 warn people that might not know how to cancell it or take it out of there monthly payments

It's not sneaky as they do clearly state you are signing up for a free trial to a recurring monthly subscription. If you are not happy with their services you have 2 weeks to cancel, otherwise they believe you to be happy and will continue to charge you. This is the policy of all free trials that have recurring subscriptions.

99% of free trails do this, it's not exactly out of the ordinary. You put in this information while signing up. It's an easy way to get a little money out of forgetful people and it's all on you in that case because they specifically state once the free trail is over you will be charged for the service you are now enjoying for free.
