I never understood the fan boys of different animes, that I would see from time to time. Like yea its cool to take pride in your fav anime and represent, but dont go over board trying to force it down people's throats. Although thats how I felt, all that changed when SOA came along. I soon found my self side by side bashing any other anime and comparing each new anime to my fav show SOA. Is this what I have become, a super fan boy. I've calmed down but now I finally understand why people can get so passionate for the craziest stuff.......What do you guys think bout fan boys and how we or they carry themselves .

Yes, you have become a fanboy, since SAO sucks, and you have just been blinded by the premise of it and boobs. It shouldn't have to defend it's self.
Fanboys and fangirls are both annoying. I don't think anyone will disagree with me.

i know this guy who goes crazy on a korean girl band. they held a concert recently and my newsfeed was full of:
"that voice, oh my heavens that voice <3"
"SNSD!!! i just died a million times today..."
"SVIP NEXT CONCERT AAHHHH ALL MY FEELS"
"OMYGAHD I CAN DIE NOW. AAAAAAAHHHHH TOO MUCH!! I MELTED TOO MUCH"
it was annoying. im not telling fan boys to shut up but i hope they dont act like this -_-
i have another fan boy friend who posts just one picture with an "awww yeah" caption. much better than that all that drama friend #1 just exhibited.

I am a complete fanboy of a few different animes, however I keep all my feelings/emotions inside of myself (don't go around forcing it down peoples throats or whatnot), hell most people don't even know I watch anime and they wouldn't really know unless they were to check my dvd collection, internet history, desktop wallpaper etc. That's how much of a closed book I am.

Haha me too..its like a secret, but I understand the hate for the fan boys guys just dont be surprised if you find your self in the same situation..I was once like you guys..telling them to stfu in my comments now its just a different story smh

I'm a fanboy who hate other fanboy/girls.
When I see a fellow fanboy who goes to extreme length to promote the things we like... it just makes me feel like they don't really like that thing passionately, but maybe they have some sort of mental disorder... OCD or trying to draw attention to themselves.
I mean arguing about it once or twice is fair game, but... I saw a fanboy going to every youtube video to argue about something... you know something's not right with their brain.

Fanatics are a disgrace to the community  Not saying that everything is bad about them, but most of it is just way out of hand, example: fan fights between different fans of different shows etc. It's stupid -.- Why can't people be like " I like this, do you like this?" and if they rely with a no, then they shouldn't become preachers and try to disprove what their mind is set onto -.- *caugh caugh religion vs science caugh caugh* |
