I never understood the fan boys of different animes, that I would see from time to time. Like yea its cool to take pride in your fav anime and represent, but dont go over board trying to force it down people's throats. Although thats how I felt, all that changed when SOA came along. I soon found my self side by side bashing any other anime and comparing each new anime to my fav show SOA. Is this what I have become, a super fan boy. I've calmed down but now I finally understand why people can get so passionate for the craziest stuff.......What do you guys think bout fan boys and how we or they carry themselves .

If you're so obsessed with Sword Arts Online... isn't SAO, not SOA?

Having a personal opinion is wonderful.

Respecting others personal opinion is even better.

Fanboy/girls are pretty annoying and kill a lot of animes for newcomers to anime or that series. For example I refuse to try Hetalia, Black Butler, and a few others mostly based on the fan base and the dislike I gained from their constant bombardment.

It's fine to be a fan but don't force it down my throat and let others have different opinions without being bashed for it.

At one point in time, everyone was a fanboy/fangirl. I know I was, as a kid (Narutard.) But now I don't really care. You just gotta learn how to not be crazy and force people to try something they don't want to. It sucks having to deal with crazy fandoms.

Black butler is okay at best. And Hetalia isn't what everyone cracks it up to be. I even tried to give Fairy Tale a try and that too is awful. It's like one piece (Which was pretty good until the retarded reindeer came into play) but even worse. So I know what you mean by giving up anime's based on the fan base.

Sometimes the best way to deal with it is to either ignore the fanboys/girls, or just to tell them that you don't care for them pushing things you don't like onto you.

Harsh I know.

I always tell my friends to be totally open with me if I get annoying about something, because I do tend to fanboy certain games.

There's nothing wrong with being fanboy at least as long as you keep it for yourself and you don't annoy others.
