Yup, not quite enough. But it really was a great effort by the 49ers to come back and almost win it. Congratz to the Ravens!

Well I was right about not trusting Kaepernick with the game on the line but clearly I underestimated the Ravens offense/overestimated the 49ers defense.

That redzone playcalling at the end by the 49ers was bizarre to say the least.

edit:
Beyonce is a terrible performer/singer and the world is worse off for there having been a Destiny's Child appearance. Not that I was expecting much, but I was hoping to at least have Jay-Z/Kanye West come out and make a cameo. That could have at least added some form of legitimate talent to the performance.

she's a terrible singer but I could honestly watch her move her hips all day. The destiny's child thing was pretty lame though. We all started laughing, guess beyonce wanted to throw them a bone.

mhm..I agree with you about Colin though, he's good, that last drive of his almost usurped the Raven's lead

What a bunch of bull. If referees aren't going to call a blatant hold in the most critical play of the super bowl, then they shouldn't be throwing their flags at non-penalties in the regular season.

Yeah, it did look like a hold - but in late game situations in any sport, the refs sometimes like to hold back and let the players try to win it themselves, even if it means the players roughing each other up a bit. And I think that's what happened there.

They also ignored a blatant late hit on Joe Flacco out of bounds that would have given the Ravens a first down at the one yard line and that deep throw in the first half in which Chris "No Homo" Culliver practically molested Torrey Smith on what would likely have been an easy TD grab. The game was called pretty much right down the middle so I don't think you can really point to one play and say "This team got screwed out of winning." when it seemed they were consistent all game. It wasn't perfect, but I can understand letting the players play in that situation.

It was a slaughter until Bane came about and decided to cut the power lines.
I was going for the Ravens, but it was a truly fearsome comeback that the 49ers made after the outage.
In my opinion, I think that the score would've been a bloodbath if the Ravens kept their momentum and the point difference would have been much higher. However, I can't predict what would have happened. Just my 2 cents. Good game though.
