SPOILERS For my pick of most spineless character this would be madoka from PMMM. She literally stands around and does nothing but cry, gets in the way of other more well developed characters and just wants people to settle things peacefully. I had to put up for this for thirteen episodes then pulls a deus ex machina out of her a** to become the most power magical girl ever "Godka", re-sets everything by making herself non existent and everyone lives happily ever after.

As for the anime, I haven't seen it so I can't really compare. As for the most spinless character, I'd have to say Rito from To Love-ru since he never really grows up and gets used to Lala's behavior and stuff.

I dunno Eva 2.0, seemed like he finally got a pair in the end. Also think about it from his perspective sure psychologically he's more messed up than most what with his paternal issues and hedgehog dilemma, but would most people not have a mental break down with what he had to go through. There is to much anime out there where the protag accepts his duties regardless of the major impact the responsibilities will have and then says to themselves "Im going to be a badass and nothing will ever phase me because I have an unbreakable will"

To Love Ru would have been way more fun if he wasnt such a jellyfish about it and all. Even in the manga hes irritatingly wimpy. I did read the Love Hina manga, I couldnt stand it, and the anime was even worse. If you guys liked it, thats fine, but I didn't.
