I thought this was the best site to watch streamed anime on? and it doesn't even have clannad? whats the deal? I signed up for the 2 week trial but I am thinking about not continuing because of this. I thought that was like one of the most popular anime out there?

Is this just an overlook or is there something wrong with the site?

Liscensing is far more complex thn "I want that let's get it", probably that someone else has the rights to something as popular and old as clannad

It's neither an overlook, nor a problem with the site. Is has more to do with the fact that it's already taken by another company. Sentai Filmworks has it licensed, and The Anime Network streams it. Crunchyroll is far from a monopoly on anime streaming. They are the best and most complete, but they don't have the money to offer everything. If you live in the US, you can see most anime through Crunchyroll, Funimation, The Anime Network, and Hulu. Although, even with 4 different streaming sites, not everything will be available. There will always be shows that you can't stream legally, in which case you need to buy the dvds/blu-rays, or find a fansub. Short of that, you're out of luck.
