How do you feel about THE MOST SERIOUS YUGIOH DUELIST IN THE WORLD?
|
I couldn't figure out a way to post it directly here in my thread, but it's a youtube clip of some kid playing a game of Yu-Gi-Oh.
Now to make this little experiment of mine work, I need you to watch the video without reading any comments what so ever, and come back here to finish the read after. Below this paragraph I have posted the link It's a youtube video, don't worry. http://youtu.be/oyUluO-1vwY Now scroll down and write your comment on this video, DON'T POST IT YET. After you've written down your comment, scroll back up and finish reading this thread, and leave a comment standing clearly AFTER your first comment. It's essential that you do not change or edit your first impression for this to work. The title of the video says "THE MOST SERIOUS YUGIOH DUELIST IN THE WORLD" and yesterday as top comment, User mrchriss commented "He's different, lets laugh at him." which kind of reminded me of how pathetic such a video really is. Framing someone for being passionate about his or hers hobby, but after reading the comment I could honestly not tell if the outcome of my impression would have been different had I been left without anyone to point out this immature behaviour as displayed in the video and the existence of the video it self. This is entirely based off of curiousity, so I expect you to be honest if you wish to "participate" It's up to you from here on. |

He was really into it, his hand gestures were making me laugh.
I think it all depends why people posted it, the video did make me laugh a bit but not in a bad way. I think if people are laughing because of the way he looks or because he's nerdy it's not cool. As for the behaviour in the video the kid that was playing him looked as though he was trying not to laugh but that can be hard if you find something funny, I don't think his friends should of highlighted it though and they could of easily turned away or something instead of laughing in his face. |

think his friends should of highlighted it though and they could of easily turned away or something instead of laughing in his face. Yeah well it's the perfect example of peer pressure and bullying, even though they were attending the very same thing. I guess it differs as to how you see it, but from where I stand, the title and the content it self suggests a nasty immature behavior. |

I think the top comment in youtube has it right, this guy IS The Pussy Destroyer.
Frankly that's really not all that bad, I thought he would go into overly dramatic mode like he was in the show or something. |

Anybody that says "He's different, lets makes fun of him!" is the real loser.

I can already control reality with my mind, banning me is pointless.

I don't care what other people think, if that makes him happy and doesn't hurt anybody why should he stop?
People who laugh at him are losers, they are at the same place, doing the same thing and laughing at someone just because he likes to play? Society is a bitch |

Other than the part at the end where he opened his hand and pointed at the guy there really wasn't anything bad here. He was just showing his cards, calling what they did, then declaring his actions. At a professional tournament it really can't possibly be that odd.
I used to go to professional gaming tournaments for things like Warhammer 40k and so on and you were pretty much expected to do everything this guy did minus some of the hand gestures. If you didn't a rules lawyer would fly out of nowhere and be all over you like white on rice making you explain literally every action you just took. |

Anybody that says "He's different, lets makes fun of him!" is the real loser. Was an ironic remark to point out the stupidity of the video it self... |

Nothing Wrong with acting out like a character from the show... I mean you are already playing the game might as well pretend to be a character. If I still played I bet he would be a really fun opponent. (The glasses... he would make a good Weveil.)
