PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU WATCH CRUNCHYROLL ON YOUR PS3

I saw the first episode of D.C lll on my PS3 but now the anime suddenly just disappeared in general. Can't even be search or does it pop anywhere in updates/alphabetical or simulcast. Meanwhile when I check on the 360 its available but i don't have Xbox live gold, whats going on?

Update 2: The Pet Girl Of Sakurasou/Seitokai No Ichizon is also not appearing on PS3 Crunchyroll

Update 3:Astarotte's Toy, Canvas 2: Niji iro No sketch, Cobra The Animation, Gankutsuou, Good Luck! Ninomiya-Kun, Footprints in the Sand, Ikki Tousen, Kanamemo, Kanokon, Kemoko DX, Kiddy Girl AND Xamd: Lost memori (Which use to be a PSN exclusive) is also not on the PS3 App. In fact there is more then that missing.

Update 4: I just tried playing D.C episode 2 on my PS3 and it error on me after I queue it from my 360. The result was that it not only didn't play but crash my PS3 too, you're telling me I'm paying $11/mon for this?

Why does the 360 have more Anime titles then the PS3? I thought I was paying for an Anime service in BOTH consoles with the same content

Problem Fix'ed. Thank BeardFist!

You could always try reading anything such as the Common Problems and Solutions or PS3 threads. It will say that it is because of Sony's mature content policy and you have to 'Opt-in' to mature content.

Doesn't change the fact that D.C lll suddenly disappeared when it work before I had this enabled

Logic would dictate that that would be because it was not marked as 'Mature' in the system until after the first episode came out.

Shouldn't this be enabled automatically via your birthday?

No, that would defeat the purpose of an 'Opt-in' system. I also believe that it would be against the Mature content policies of both Sony and Apple.

As Beardfist pointed out, the reason the system is setup this way is because of Apple's and Sony's mature content policy. It is also the same for Roku devices as well.

Sony and Apple's policies are so confusing that even Crunchyroll did not fully understand their policies until recently. There was a confusion on the forums between CR staff and members. CR customer service was under the impression that there was no way to watch mature titles on either Sony or Apple devices, but they eventually got an answer from "the top" after I and several members pointed out that mature titles worked on Sony and Apple devices if the mature content filter was set to show mature content. So it seemed that someone at CR that handles this kind of stuff told the engineers, but failed to properly communicate this information to other CR staff.

I didn't think Sony and Apple would make things so complicated. Usually Apple approaches the whole "Simplicity" idea, but I myself wasn't aware of this until a few days ago.

When it comes to consumer products, yes. When it comes to legal agreements, no.

No, sometimes the person paying for the account is the parent and the person using the account are the children. That's why its opt-in.
