Perhaps. But is there any proof to establish that Pokemon acts as a direct cause of the development of abusive behavior against animals? And if so, does this occur at a significant enough frequency to merit collective action against Pokemon?

I find the human need for proof amusing. I don't believe it will do any difference, nothing will be done to Pokemon, rest assured .

Even if you give proof to a human, it is still possible for that simple human to not believe what that proof is proving. Proof does not really prove anything to an individual that is perpetually in constant skepticism.

I bet if God came down now in physical form and showed proof to an atheist that he/she/it does exist, the atheist will still not believe since they are always doubtful and have no faith.

It is either you believe or not believe and that applies to everything in life.

Yes, a game that Continually reinforces the idea that if you love your pets, they will love you and that they will be good pets is obviously promoting animal abuse. Nowhere in the game do they portray the purposeful abuse of animals for purposes such as making money or stealing or purely for the sake of fighting, rather than competition, as a good thing. You continually fight these things throughout the game, and the pokemon actually defend themselves just as much. The game virtually implies that pokemon are your equals, and encourages you to treat them as such. Pokemon that you train yourself rather than having someone else level will respect you more and be better off than otherwise.

and isn't it a big thing at the end of the game that your rial lost because he didn't respect his pokemon?

PETA, I ask you, whom sees the world in the most perverse ways only, Did you even think about the very obvious, positively reinforced concepts used in the game? Do you even bother to understand the subject matter before you open your fat as.... err, mouth?

It's been said before: Anything positive done by peta has long since been destroyed by it's level of incompetence in choosing what should be said and inferred, and what simply is not inferred or said. People that see the world only in black and white are a far greater threat than others.

I don't know if you can call it animal abuse, I mean in the anime back in the 90's Pokemon seemed to love fighting on their own accord.

So your position is indefensible. Good to know. Ignore cannons, open fire.
