There's no way that anime is satanic, I can't really give an example or whatever, but I see anime as pure entertainment and people should treat it as such.

But I'm always interested to hear what people think about certain topics. I am Christian for the most part just not overly religious about it. I'm also hardheaded and mostly set in my ways so even if someone told me right now I was a "bad christian" for loving anime I really wouldn't care too much. I don't think what I like to watch has any bearings on whether I'm a good person or not. Also I said other people too. Not just Christians. There were quite a few people who just generally thought it was satanic. |

If an anime simulcasts and no one is around to watch it does it make a sound?

I am a christian but I luv all different kinds of anime, I basically think it's all how you as an individual view things. Some may see it as "bad/evil" and dismiss it all together, while others veiw it as "good/inspirational" or whatever, etc. (the list can go on).
To each there own. |

Anime is just a satanic as western movies and shows. People are silly. People get offended about nothing, whether it be gays and chick-fil-a or "Muslim chanting" in Ocarania of time or Jynx in pokemon being racist. There are "satanic" anime out there just like how there are "satanic" movies, who freaking cares, but yugi-oh? lol thats pretty funny. They had to change the boobs and remove the guns too, yet some of these kids are playing black ops and other fps games. Its just a parent to parent based problem some are too concerned other are not concerned enough.

I really don't care either way if it is or isn't because I love anime but there are quite a few that features the demon lord in a positive fashion like Demon King Daimon, Maoyu, High School DXD and a bunch of others. Then there are the ones that show Christians in a negative fashion like in Hellsing. What do you guys think do you think anime is satanic? Is it just certain anime? If it is certain anime do you stay away from those or does it not matter to you? What are your general thoughts on the subject? Ha! I have several devote Roman Catholic friends who are EXTREAMLY strict, they love romance anime |

in japan the majority of the population is not of any Monotheistic religion, most are either Shinto, Agnostic, or Atheists, in america, the overwhelming majority of the population practices Monotheism, whether it be Christian, Jewish or Muslim. Europe is a lot like japan, in the religion department, except for Shinto. I for one an an ATHEIST (Yes, call me a Godless Heathen
) from america I am actually am fascinated with the controversy of theism so when a show showing a "Satanic" look i really hope it will be good, sadly the majority of them are Ecchi, Fanservice shows, which saddens me. |

Didn't you know? If you play bleach series 2 episode 5 backwords it's a spell to summon the devil!!
But seriously, personaly I think it's total nonsence. I'm not going to state my veiws on if their is or is not a god, but "Anime" is the term for japanese animation. so are we saying it's japanese animation ONLY that's inherantly evil? Or are American cartoon evil and satanic too? I'll wager that a lot of these people who condem anime let their children watch "wholesome" western cartoons. Not to say anything about anything developed elcewhere. I put it down to biggotry, that Anime is looked down on purly because of lack of knowledge about it, or because Christianity isn't very prominant in Japan and thus Japans deities are the ones that get the most screen time. Their are plenty enough series where charicters are defending the peace against evil demons and the like after all. |

ok Anime, not satanic. that's a silly idea. Even shows that have characters with "hellspawned powers" are no more Satanic than issues of Ghost Rider or Spawn from American comics
Christianity in and of it's self is fine. Boil it down and it amounts to "Play nice and don't hurt nobody." it's a fine philosophy of life to live by. The organization that built up around it however is rotten to the core, ruled by corrupt power hungry men who have a vested interest in preventing the advancement of free though and knowledge. and the same can be said for almost any religion, regardless of where in the world it originates. Follow the underlying philosophies and ignore what the Holy Men and Books tell you |

Follow the underlying philosophies and ignore what the Holy Men and Books tell you Both Ghost Rider and Spawn use powers from Satan or whoever that guy is from Spawn to fight against them. Its still pretty down with Satan in the grand scheme of things. Even Constantine was still pretty much hoping to get to heaven. I don't really think those apply here. But I do like where you were going with it. I can dig it. |

Yes anime is satanic, it's so painfully obvious. You're all bad people for engaging in the satanic behavior of watching anime.

If I had a type it'd be you, fortunately I don't have a type so please stop.

For a christian ,,,,What is satanic ,it is not restricted to devil worshiping of course .. its anything of the devil ... it is Anything that is not of or is against God's ways. There are only 2 choices in the matter.
If one believes the bible to the letter with its teaching then yes anime can be viewed as satanic if it goes against those principles. I have studied the scriptures and other "holy books" from page one to the end since I was a child upto my young adulthood. Of course It is up to the reader to believe or have faith that it is the truth. There you have it and of course I watch anime therefore I am now in the red...yeap ....and I must repent ........and dont get me started with that... But Anime orginated in a country of mainly non christians , so naturaly its religious belief and culture are written and shown in it. |

Satanic...wow, what an antiquated term.
I think the moment someone labels something Satanic in an attempt to put something in a negative light you can immediately dismiss them and their opinions as crazy. But to answer the question, anime is as Satanic as devil's food cake, the New Jersey Devils, and Hell's Kitchen. There are references to Satan, hell, and other "enemies of Christianity". But Japan is not a Christian country, so when anime pulls from other religions and cultures it's usually not meant as an attack on religion. It's about a badass character or an interesting story. But try to explain that to those people you found on Facebook, right? |

This just sounds like a group of moms that have nothing better to do than nit-pick at something.
Reminds of a while back when Oh! My Goddess came under some heat because people thought Belldandy was more like a slave to Keiichi. |
