I would like to live there since i never been there before, therefore it would be a fresh adventure. Also Japan brought me anime which at the time i didn't know it was called that, but if it wasn't for Japan i doubt i would of enjoyed television after getting back from the park everyday.

yeah kinda because they have such healthy food there and it is home to a lot of my interests such as anime and Judo, though I'd have to learn the language first.

Yeah, I would rather live in the land of Kawaii-ness than in the stinky shithole that is the United States. It would be so awesome to experience a decent culture for once. Cherry blossom trees make it totally worth it too!!!  |

Ya, I would love to live in a culture that thinks of one another rather then being selfish pricks all the time, but it takes alot to move there and be successful. Learning the language is one thing but you need to have a good set of job skills to land a job over there. You cant just move to another country and expect a job with nothing to back it up with.

Those are good points, which is why I wish I was born into a Japanese family, rather than just move there in the future.

Nope. I would love to visit, but I would not want to move there. My family and friends are all here and besides that, I love Virginia! It is the best state in my opinion and I can't even imagine moving to another state, much less another country.

I live in Sweden in a small town, were everybody knows everyone and what you have done and have not done. It´s annoying so yeah I would happily move to Japan.

Hell no. My life is pretty awesome where it is and I don't share the love that many people in this thread do for Japanese culture, in fact I find it to be kind of underwhelming and bland to be honest. It'd also be a bitch for me to find a date over there.

Yes because of everything, I would like to visit other places in the far east while I'm there... and while I'm here travel across Europe so i don't need to come back often. I imagine the hardest problem would be languages and adjustment, It would be crazy to walk around for a few weeks then probably get used to it, I'd love to in the future.

Just to visit, I would. Planning to live there? Nope. I'm already far from my family, and I don't want to be further away from them. I'm happy to live here and meet great people every day. I would like to know Japan's culture and history, but it's best just to visit. Also, I wouldn't have money to move there.
