Japan doesn't have an open immigration policy so being there for longer than three months without a job and cheap living quarters (which are both extremely difficult to attain) would be just a very expensive vacation. BUT!!!! if I could just buy a plane ticket, find a cheap apartment and job quick enough (like here in the U.S. sans the job ) I would move in a heart beat to Osaka for THE FOOD. Dear universe, the food. |

I would go mainly cuz I would wanna see what school is like there and also to try out kendo like actual kendo not the crappy stuff in America oh also for the themed restaurants oh I also forgot that I would be able to actually buy the songs I want from animes and support the anime rather than just downloading it for free cuz u know I wanna help

From history I can infer that evil empire China probably has a grudge against Japan. Had something to do with Japan turning Chinese women into concubines, etc.

And from what I hear, the two nations as of now are bickering over the sovereignty of islands.

I would love to live in Japan since I have always loved Japanese culture even way before I ever found anime. Ever since I was little the country just fascinated me for some reason. That being said, however, there are too many things preventing it from being possible. I would first need to learn the language since I would never go to another country without at least basic knowledge of their language and also I have free medicine here and I am not sure how available the medicine would be to me anywhere else. Because of how expensive the medicine is I am even afraid of leaving my current state for fear of having difficulties obtaining it.

Google Bataan Death March, Nanking, Manchukuo, Korea under Japanese rule, and comfort women and you'll know what I mean. Germany's at least admitted to its crimes.

I'd love to try and live there after getting a better grasp of the language. I'm fascinated by the culture (the cray-cray anime stuff and the traditional Japanese life), and think it would be a wicked awesome change.
As far as the other why's, if I'm going to feel out of place...I might as well feel out of place while being near the hobbies I love as opposed to being stuck in southern US with angry rednecks |

I love Anime and other pieces of their culture but I do not know the language and I wouldn't want to leave my family and friends for a forign country. (I live in the USA)
