Would you rather live in Japan or where you live now? If so why? |
No I wouldn't. I prefer to live here in Finland because here are not earthquakes or tsunamis etc.

I want to die...

I would if there weren't any Tsunamis and Earthquake =.=" Anyway I'm planning on visiting Nihon after finishing my highschool studies ^.^

I'd love to visit. Live there? I'm not sure....I admit, I dream about living there, but I can't be certain if I wanna move there. I'll stay in Okinawa though, haha.

Lol why the U.S? Im courious. Have you always lived in Japan? Well what would draw me to Japan is the technology. Im a courious person. I hear its highly advanced. Every person I meet that wants to go to Japan says they want to teach English and I don't know why but it drives me nuts. I mean why can't it be something different like Marine Biology or business. Thats just my opinion. I understand others have their own.

Only for a visit, and only if I had wads and wads of cash. If I was a billionaire, I'd get a 2nd home there. One of my sisters lived there for 5yrs. It's expen$ive over there! I'd always come back home. I'll never leave here (even though we have the occasional hurricane) because this is what where I live looks like:

Watching K-dramas instead of sleeping....;D

I have lived there for months at a time, max three month visa at the time. Loved every second. Was going to go back and stay for a few years until the earthquake and radiation leaks happened and my employer recalled all foreign staff. Haven't been back since
Why? It is so much fun. Beautiful. Great history. Wonderful, friendly people. Sakaya open until six am... Trains that run every two minutes. Sushi, ramen, okonomiyaki, the food is so good. Karaoke. Ocha. Osake. Ozumo. Anime. Manga... Castles, sword, kimono, maiko... Hope its ok to break the image two max rule here... ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/hpulley/3821982388 Tokyo by hpulley, on Flickr ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/hpulley/3765569024 Nagoya Castle by hpulley on Flickr ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/hpulley/3809759204 Double yoked egg ramen by hpulley, on flickr ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/hpulley/3808950287 Excellent ramen shop by hpulley on Flickr |

I'd love to go for an extended visit, I have no idea if I'd actually like it. The lack of being able to speak the language is a pretty major problem though

I would definitely move there in a heartbeat. Not JUST because of anime and manga (though that is a big part of it), but also because I love the food, I love the culture, I love the people...I don't know, it just seems like I would fit in over there rather than over here where I sometimes get anxious just parking and walking into a grocery store.
But I still plan to move there sooner or later, even if it's only temporary. I've heard good things about it and I want to experience it myself. The biggest plus: Having very efficient transportation. I'm sick of driving a car and putting up with idiots on the road, it's more frustrating driving to my work than the actual job itself. Overall, definitely. Anime, Manga, Great food, Beautiful Temples, interesting history, easy to get to everywhere you need to go just by walking, and nice people (well, most people are nice). It's pretty much everything I'm looking for. |

I would love to live in Japan partly because I grew up in the Philippines so feel more at home in east Asian countries but also because I am obsessed with their music, fashions (like VK, lolita, decora etc but mainly VK), their anime rocks and their music is my sort of thing.

No matter how hard it gets always move forward

Yea its been a dream of mine for years. The culture reallly appeals to me, the food the language. Ofcourse anime and manga are strong reasons but you would need more if you were going to commit to living there . :p

I would rather live in Japan because its culture is closer to my cultural heritage. It's an advanced nation. Its technology is incredible.
Actually, I would rather live in my birth country, if it wasn't for the low standard of living and corruption, I would move back there. I live in Australia at the moment and the standard of living is high, but I miss my homeland. I get homesick sometimes, I want to be with my own people and my own cultures. I miss the food and festivals... |

Its always been my dream to go there as a little kid. Don't know if I'd move there or anything but maybe just visit, and decide at a later time if I'd really want to move there.
