I would not know, because almost all their stuff is blocked in my region, same deal with funimation.

I subscribe to both Crunchyroll and Hulu Plus for my anime fix.

I don't own a Roku, and I like streaming on my HDTV, so I am willing to deal with Hulu's 15-second commercial breaks on my 360.

I really do miss the days when I had the income to purchase anime on DVD, though. I'm not alone on that boat, I suppose.

If I was to rate my streaming experiences with TAN it is by far the worse I have had when streaming any video on their site. I have not yet tried the Funimation Roku app which I here is some what better than their website.

I've never tried TAN, mainly becuase they don't have enough shows that interested in. I joined crunchy mainly because of Bleach, but I've seen a lot of other great shows on here that make my membership worth it.

when I first started getting back in to anime thanks to the selection at Netflix (which much has now disappeared), I started looking into watching simulcasts of new series. Immediately jumped on to to Funi, and I've been a paid subscriber for roughly a year now. Funi's site and iOS app have their issues, it still was fine enough for me, with the occasional extended outage.

ANN introduced me to TAN and CR as I'd read through the new streaming list they compiled for all the streaming services every week. I first tried out TAN, specifically through the iOS app, and it wasn't really that impressive. By this point I had already visited CR and taken a look at their offerings and the iOS app, and (as previously brought up by a couple people) there was a lot of overlap of TAN and CR's stream catalogs. It was clear CR had a superior setup and I have been impressed with the developments and improvements they've made for streaming through other platforms such as iOS and XBOX360. I also noticed that the simulcast shows I wanted to see were being released on CR week(s) ahead of TAN, so that just gave me a push further over to CR. Cancelled my trial at TAN and switched to CR. I've been a satisfied paid subscriber since last April.

I never been to their site but I do give them credit for delivering me anime through their cable OnDemand channel in the early 2000's, good times!

I kind of hated AN when I had AT&T U-Verse. True, they were just trying to get me interested in anime or get me to buy it, but at the same time, when they had Princess Ressurrection up, they originally had the first episode up for free. Then awhile later they had episode eight while they never had the ones before it (excluding 1, of course). I personally like Funimation in that regard, but other than that AN is pretty good. I liked almost all of the ones that I saw the pilots of (like Princess Resurrection and Heaven's Memo Pad).

Free TAN is everything they have on Hulu, Paid TAN uses Amazon Webservice only as their host. So if your not in one of 3 regions of the country located by a AWS delivery site your stream is crap. I mean really bad. Sept of last year was when AWS went down and TAN hasn't been right since. Their Jwin player is like years old, they have don't minor alterations in their site once to include more banner adds. They only care about VOD customers and their licensing contracts, web page customers are just suckers to scam cash off. Technical support amounts to refresh 5 times pray for a new delivery server...

The only experience that I have had is there iPad app. Which I use as much as CR's. I haven't had any problems with them. Video works fine and is clear. So, my answer is yes.

This topic is relevant to my interests, since I started a TAN subscription at the beginning of this month. (It has shows that I have not seen at any of the other streamers, most notably Psychic Squad and – regardless of its reputation among fans – Fate / Stay Night.) Have not had any issues as of yet. Also: I have read that everything that Funi streams can also be found at Hulu, and I am already a Hulu Plus fan, so ... might not need Funi for anything.
