Dude we're talking about video games. At least 60% of them already have incredibly stupid stories. Personally I feel 90% of them have stupid stories. Games can be incredible mediums for storytelling. Its just that most game designers suck balls at story telling. Check the angry video game nerd videos and you are bound to find some ridiculous stories soon.
