If you could travel to Japan, what's one thing about Japanese culture you'd hope to be the same as it is in anime?

Anyone who watches a decent amount of anime has their own idea of what Japanese culture is really like.
Most of us probably wonder how accurate or exaggerated anime really are. So.. ..let's pretend you're going to travel to Japan.. ..keeping in mind how Japanese culture is portrayed in a typical anime...what is one element from Japanese culture in anime that would like to see in Japan for real? |

The most awesome thing was seeing the neighbourhood allocations, housings and such, and like how telephone lines going everywhere just as in anime.
Maid Café, sure they are cute and such, but I kid you not it is creepy, unless your a girl or with a girl. Once for fun, sure, but I for one won't be fill out the stamp resembling "my master" membership card. If your looking for "skirts are above the knees" type of things there are such things as fan service, I was not looking for it, but it was out of school season... |

Uhm .. I hope I come across one of those traffic lights with sound. I hear they are disappearing. Other than that, nothing.

Yeah, no. That's fantasy land you're living in. The skirts are worn Tamako Market style. Thinking of Tamako Market.. I snapped this while in the shopping arcade in Kyoto (which is were Tamako Market is loosely based off of). I really miss Kyoto. If I didn't work in such absolute horrible place, which does not allow me to use the vacation time I earn, I would totally spend a month in Kyoto this summer. I got the money and over 50 vacation days in the bank, but my employer has been giving me huge issues about taking vacation time. |

The town/area I stayed in Hakone was just like the town from Shiki at dusk. There were no one on the streets and not even driving on the roads. Al of the stores and restaurants were closed too after 4:30. It was creepy as hell.
Here is a pic I snapped: |

I have been to Japan a few times and the one thing that I wanted to see but haven't is a drunk salaryman with his tie tied around his head. Closest I got was seeing one puking on the street in Ginza and then passed out on the sidewalk.
Some other things that I found were true were that there are actual ravens going caw caw, the skirts are really that short and the cicadas make that annoying buzzing sound that you hear in the anime during the summer. |
